Lighthouse. Many stand on exposed coastal points and appear on maps with a tower symbol, such as the lighthouse at Blåvandshuk, which Statistics Denmark lists as the westernmost point of the country. Lighthouses are useful navigation marks for sailors and good targets for coastal walks and cycle rides. Dunes can shift near older towers, so respect fences and signs.
