Which side of the road does Denmark drive on?

The answer

Denmark drives on the right, as in most of continental Europe. Rules on licences, insurance, tolls on some major bridges, low-emission zones in some cities and mandatory equipment can change, so check current requirements with official Danish sources before you drive, especially if you arrive with a hire car or a foreign-registered vehicle. Cyclists also ride on the right, in separate lanes in most towns, and should signal before turning or stopping.
