Two or three bases are usually enough for a week. A base is a place where you sleep for several nights, with day trips by train, bus or bicycle. Fewer moves mean less packing, fewer ferry timetables to manage and more time to enjoy each area. A relaxed example is Copenhagen, then Funen or a southern island, then the Jutland coast. Leave at least one empty day for weather, rest or a tip from a local, and check crossings before you fix the plan.
